Back in 2010 when I was working for Velogo Pedicabs three of us went to Telluride to pedicab concert goers for two nights of Phish. We loaded the bikes in a trailer and drove seven hours from the Mile High City of Denver to Telluride at an elevation of 8,750 feet. Riding up Main Street was quite a chore after riding all night until 5:00 AM, the altitude change from the usual 5280 feet didn’t help either. The views were impressive and the amphitheater in Telluride rivals Red Rocks. It was quite a trip and pushed me towards buying my own pedicab and starting Colorado Bike Taxi. Riding those 3 nights in Telluride was exhausting and fun, I would like to return for some of the great festivals Telluride has to offer.
